Three Hospitalized Following Crash

Hamburg, NY- Big Tree firefighters were alerted for a motor vehicle crash Thursday evening January 12, 2006 on South Park Ave. at Abbott Parkway. Callers indicated to dispatch that this was a head on crash with multiple patients.

First Assistant Chief Ron Klimowicz was first on location and determined that three ambulances and one heavy rescue were needed and requested ambulances from Blasdell and Woodlawn Fire Companies. Three patients were taken to Erie County Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. One female patient refused medical treatment.

Big Tree was assisted on scene by Blasdell and Woodlawn Fire Companies, Scranton
