2005 Memorial Breakfast Held

June 05, 2005:

On Sunday June 5 th 2005 Members of the Big Tree Vol. Fire Company gathered with the families of the deceased members for an annual memorial service.

This service is to remember the member’s that have gone before us and how have made this company what it is today.

An honor guard performance opened the memorial service and stood at attention for the service.

Father Joe Bayne Erie County Emergency Services Chaplin preformed the hour-long service.

After the service fire company members were assembled at the memorial grounds wail Vice President Robert Brown Read off the names inscribed in to the memorial stones. Chief Robert Stoberl rang the memorial bell and Asst. Chief Ron Klimowicz and President/Fire Capt. Dan Bozek Placed a carnation in the boot for each name read.

Town Of Hamburg Supervisor, Pat Hoak placed a wreath on the memorial from the town. Chief Stoberl and President Bozek placed a second wreath from the fire company.

A special thanks goes to Father Joe Bayne, the committee members, and all the members of Big Tree Vol. Fire Co. for never forgetting our past members.
