Elects 2005 Officers
On December 1th, 2004, the Big Tree firefighters
elected their 2005 officers at the annual election meeting. Most officers were uncontested except for the position of Chief on the firematic side and Financial Secretary and Trustee on the administrative side.
Current Chief Bob Stoberl won reelection for 2005 against former Chief Ed Hughes and former Assistant Chief Jeff Roth. Returning this year after a one year absence is Chris Zak, who will return as First Assistant Chief. Ron Klimowicz, who after serving for many years as a fire captain, will move up to the position of Second Assistant Chief. We will look forward to a progressive and suceessful year under their leadership.
On the administrative side Dan Bozek returns as President along with Vice President Bob Brown, Norm Drabek as Treasurer, and Jeff Hosie as Sargarent at Arms. Branden Watson won election as Financial Secretary while Carol Covert returns once again as company secretary. Richard Jedynak, Stan Figel and Warren Ristine were elected as company Trustees for the coming year.
All officers will assume office on January 1, 2005 and will be sworn in at the annual installation dinner on January 8, 2005.
