Big Tree Volunteer Fire Company Elects 2006 Officers

On December 7th, 2005, the Big Tree firefighters elected their 2006 officers at the annual election meeting. Most officers were uncontested except for the position of Chief on the firematic side and Financial Secretary .

Current First Assistant Chief Chris Zak won election for Chief for 2006 against current Chief Bob Stoberl. Ron Klimowicz who currently serves as 2nd Assistant Chief moves up to the postion of First Assistant Chief. Past Chief Ed Hughes returns to the line as Second Assistant Chief. We will look forward to a progressive and suceessful year under their leadership.

On the administrative side Dan Bozek returns as President, Norm Drabek as Treasurer, and Jeff Hosie as Sargarent at Arms. Branden Watson won election as Financial Secretary while Carol Covert returns once again as company secretary. Dave Patton and Stan Figel are joined by newcomer Rob Pruski as trustees.

All officers will assume office on January 1, 2006 and will be sworn in at the annual installation dinner on January 7, 2006.
