Hamburg, NY: A pair of crashes on South Park Avenue in Blasdell kept Big Tree firefighters busy Friday evening. The first crash, which occured at the intersection of Route 179 and South Park Avenue sent one male to South Buffalo Mercy Hospital with neck and back injuries. Firefighers spent approximately 30 minutes on scene treating the patient and clearing the street of debris.

Just a few hours later, a second crash at the intersection of Big Tree and South Park Avenue again required Big Tree firefighters to rush into action. Upon arrival, firefighters treated two patients for neck and back injuries while a third patient refused treatment. Both patients were transported to South Buffalo Mercy hospital by Big Tree's EMS unit.
