One Car Crash In Woodlawn

At approximately 2:12 PM, the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to a vehicle rollover on Route 5 and Second Street. Chiefs from the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company quickly arrived and confirmed a single vehicle crash with one victim hanging upside down inside the vehicle. Extrication personnel from Woodlawn and mutual aid EMS from Big Tree responded to the scene almost immediately.

Upon arrival, EMS personnel from Big Tree were able to stabilize the victim and lower her safely onto a backboard while crews from Woodlawn stabilized and secured the vehicle. After sliding the victim out of the vehicle, she was assessed and packaged for transport to the hospital. A crew from Rural/Metro Ambulance provided the transportation to the hospital.
