One Air Lifted After Motorcycle Crash

A female passenger on a motorcycle was airlifted to the Erie County Medical Center after an early evening crash on Route 20. The crash occurred on the newly paved and speed-restricted section of Route 20. The driver of the motorcycle sustained only minor injuries while the female passenger sustained a head injury. Crews from the Big Tree Volunteer Fire Company rendered emergency care and prepared the patient for the short flight to the trauma center. Traffic on Route 20 was disrupted for approximately thirty minutes until the accident scene was cleared.
