Hamburg, NY: One man was sent to South Buffalo Mercy Hospital with minor injuries after his vehicle struck the back of a dump truck. The collision, which occurred on McKinley Parkway near Rout 20, snarled rush-hour traffic for a brief time while the accident scene was cleared. Ambulances from Armor and Big Tree were dispatched to the scene shortly after 4:00 PM. Initial reports from dispatch stated that one patient was unconscious and seizing. Upon arrival, chiefs quickly assessed the scene and found only one minor injury. The driver of the dump truck was not hurt. Town of Hamburg Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
