Serious Motor Vehicle Collision Sends Two to Hospital

Hamburg, NY: Big Tree firefighters were dispatched on September 2, 2004 around 15:00 hours for a report of a motor vehicle collision on the dangerous Rt. 20 corridor. First arriving units reported that two vehicles were involved and both patients had self extracted themselves. Big Tree along with the Blasdell Fire Company transported two patients to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Big Tree was also assisted by Scranton Fire Company, a Village of Hamburg Fire Company Assistant Chief, Rural Metro Medical Services and Town of Hamburg Police.
