On Thursday Feburary 16th at about 21:57 Big Tree VFC responded to a report of a structure fire at 106 East Canyon Drive in the town of Hamburg, no one was home at time of alarm. When we arrived it was fully involved, and very high heat. The fire had even spread, to a vehicle parked on the side of the structure, approx. six feet away. The fire was so involved we had to use the bigger, 2 1/2 inch hose line to help get the fire under control, along with two 1 3/4 inch hose lines. We had our fire company, and three mutual aid companies (Armor, Lakeshore, Blasdell, and Newton Abott) respond. From start to finish of call was approx. one hour forty five minutes, of hard work, all members and companies working together, and then clean up.Click here to veiw more pictures.
