Big Tree VFC - Rollover Accident

Big Tree Firefighters were dispatched at 2051 hours this evening to a roll over accident with entrapment on Roundtree at Breckinridge, the accident occurring in a small neighborhood where the female driver struck a parked car and rolled over.
Big Tree chief’s arrived on location and reported a vehicle on its roof and a female patient trapped with minor injuries. Big Tree 9 assumed command as Rescue 7, and Engines 1 and 2 were directed by Operations Chief, Big Tree 9-1, to conduct stand by fire suppression, stabilization and extrication of the patient. The extrication took firefighters 24 minutes to stabilize, extricate and load the patient into Big Tree 8 for transport to ECMC for evaluation.
